The colourful boats set the scene at Crick Boat Show. Presented by national and local boat builders and fitters and also by brokers, there are narrowboats and wide beams on display on water in the Marina and also on land at the heart of the Show Village.

Many companies have an "open boat" that can be viewed at any time durning the Show, but for others you may need to pre-book a viewing. If you wish to view a the boat from a specific company, do contact them before the Show find out if pre-booking is necessary.

ABNB has been selling boats nationwide since 1995. Based at North Kilworth Marina, our small team have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the inland waterways sector and are on hand seven days a week to answer your questions. Having won the Favourite Boat in Show in 2023, we are looking to welcome people back to see our latest build. This year we are showcasing ’Est Tempus’ No. 207 which is traditional in look but with all the ultra modern features. All handbuilt from our skilled and talented team, here in Cheshire. Formed in 1966, the Historic Narrow Boat Club is a not-for-profit club dedicated to preserving the working heritage of UK canals, from the boats themselves to details of the waterways on which they travel. We are passionate about working boats, traditional skills, the built heritage, and the practices and courtesies of the working boat people.

Favourite Boat in Show

The Favourite Boat in Show award is a tradition of Crick. The 2024 competion is sponsored by Haven Knox-Johnston and there with be two trophies - one the most admired narrowboat and one for the most admired widebeamt, as voted for by Show visitors.

Haven Knox-Johnson Boat Insurance

The result will be announced early afternoon on Monday. Everyone who votes is entered into a prize draw to win a £100 Marks & Spencer voucher and voters can also enter a prize draw to win a year's free boat insurance from Haven Knox-Johnston (T&C apply). The winning exhibitor receives a trophy and a bottle of champagne.

Our Show Village is a bustling outdoor area of the Show with a large number of exhibitors. Located adjacent to the main food court, and around the Land Boats, it’s the ideal area to enjoy a gentle post-lunch stroll.

We are already starting to work on plans for 2025 and can confirm the dates as the Late May Bank Holiday, 24-26 May 2025, with Trade & Preview Day on Friday 23 May.
