Entertainment programme to be headed by The Bachelors and Isla St Clair


Scheduled to perform on Sunday 3 June, are 60’s favourites Con and Dec of the Bachelors as part of their anticipated 50th year in show business tour. With eighteen hit records in the UK charts they have sold millions of records around the world. In 1964, The Bachelors had more records in the UK top ten than The Beatles, ringing up an incredible 77 weeks in the UK charts. They reached number one, with titles "Diane" and "I Believe" and had two records in the Top Five at the same time. In addition to these hits they will perform a selection of their other songs such as ‘Sound of Silence’, ‘Charmaine’, and ‘Ramona’ during a daytime and evening performance in the Real Ale Marquee at Crick Boat Show.

There will also be entertainment from Isla St Clair, one of Britain's foremost traditional singers. Isla has won many accolades including "Folk Singer of the Year". She is also remembered by millions for her numerous television appearances, most notably as co-host of BBC's Generation Game.


Isla will be performing a fusion of traditional and modern folk classics, as well as some waterway themed songs.She will be joined by a traditional Scottish Piper as part of the show’s special Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations on Tuesday 5 June 2012.

A full daytime and evening entertainment schedule, real ale bar opening times, and evening catering facility details for campers, moorers, and those wishing to visit from Crick village and surrounding areas will be available very shortly.
